Nelle Nichols Peters is known as a pathbreaking female architect, designer of nearly 1,000 local buildings, and one of the most prolific architects in Kansas City during the 1920s. Despite the fact that many of these buildings still occupy prominent locations, especially near the Country Club Plaza, Nelle Peters remains a relatively obscure figure in Kansas City history. We are honored to continue on her legacy with this great floorplan.

Nestled on the corner of Minnesota Ave and 4th Street in Kansas City, KS sits Historical Marker 115. π Innocuous to some, this plaque was erected in 1965 by the Kansas State Historical Society and is a stoneβs throw from Kaw Point Riverfront Park, where Kansas, otherwise known as the Kaw and Missouri rivers, merge. This plaque represents and beautifully depicts significant events at this meeting point. Known as The Gateway To Kansas- it starts with Lewis and Clark dating back to 1804 and ends with the writing of the Kansas State Constitution in 1859. π‘π
